Geographically scattered, professionally connected
We have a fantastic group of like minded professionals who we have helped or are helping gradually to return to clinical practice. The self managed group provides space to connect with our alumni, allowing freedom to give mutual support and understanding. There are opportunities to collaborate with other professionals across the health care sector who genuinely want your valued input. Free flowing or facilitated conversations can help determine personal direction whilst giving everyone space to share and be purposeful. We understand that being in a group situation isn’t easy or practical for everyone, so the sessions we run are completely optional to join. Currently, we are meeting virtually using Zoom and offering a range of sessions from crafting workshops to just having a coffee and a chat. We feel it provides such a safe space for everyone feel wanted, valued and listened too.
Thank Lucy and Karol for their bravery really in not giving up on this problem and pushing for and sharing the solutions. I hope that NHS England realises what a skilled and professional bunch we are, how very few Dr Shipmans there are among us and better values our contribution to keeping the whole health system afloat in so many ways
